The non MCU Marvel movie will be released by Sony. Although this property isn’t as well known as Spider-Man, movies such as Venom showed us fans are open to lesser known non Spidey centric films. Despite Venom‘s poor reviews, it was a box office smash.

Directed by Daniel Espinosa, Morbius stars Jared Leto as Dr. Michael Morbius, Adria Arjona as Martine Bancroft, Matt Smith as Loxias Crown, as well as Jared Harris and Tyrese Gibson in currently unknown roles. Check out the synopsis below:

“Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead.”

Morbius is scheduled to be released in on July 31st, 2020.

Directed by Ruben Fleischer, Venom stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, and Reid Scott. Check out the synopsis below:
